From the luxury, hospitality and tourism industries, the potential of Micro LED is endless. ” Said Hieson Ha, executive vice president of visual displays at Samsung Electronics. “ISE is the largest exhibition of its kind in the world, and we are proud to present our new line The Wall. The next-generation technology he is implementing will deliver benefits that exceed all expectations, transforming any business and opening up new opportunities. »
Wall 2022: the smallest pixel pitch never reached
Samsung has introduced in 2022 the release of The Wall (model name: IWB), an innovative modular Micro LED display that provides an exciting viewing experience on large screens with high resolution. IWB will be available from a pixel pitch (distance between two pixels) 0.63 or 0.94; 0.63 is the smallest height never offered in the range of The Wall. IWB will be available at the end of the year.
in height Ultra-slim IWB allows Samsung to display the most realistic image, as well as optimal image quality, which is improved by the refresh rate of 120 Hz display and HDR10 / 10 + technology and LED HDR. The Wall is available in a wide range of screen sizes with a resolution of 4K for 110 inches and up to 8K for 220 inches, which meets the expectations of all users and the needs of professionals. This exceptional resolution is made possible by a powerful Micro AI (Artificial Intelligence) processor that analyzes every moment’s content to optimize image quality by eliminating image noise.
The size of the panels that make up the screen has been increased. Now it is enough to collect 4 of them to have a UHD screen, which reduces installation time and cost. Optimized panels improve the mechanical properties of high-resolution screens for exceptional immersion. Reduced installation time offers professionals significant advantages over conventional LED displays.
The Wall is also equipped with the latest technology. The Multi View function allows you to play multiple sources (up to four) on one screen at the same time without the need for an additional splitter to display dynamic content. The Black Seal technology integrated into the screen provides a cleaner level of black, as well as a unique protective coating that allows you to achieve record levels of contrast, even in bright conditions. Finally, with 20-bit processing, The Wall delivers exceptional image quality and a smooth visual impression, backed by a peak of 2,000 nits, for vivid images.
The Wall All-in-One: an innovative and practical installation
Also introduced at ISE 2022, The Wall All-in-One (model name: IAB) is available in three versions: 4K 146 ”, FHD 146 ” and FHD 110 ”. In addition to the visual feel, this incredible next-generation screen revolutionizes the installation process. The standard resolution of The Wall All-in-One is 16: 9. Already available for sale, the screen is sold only as a whole, the panels are not sold separately.
The main innovation introduced by The Wall All-in-One is its installation, which is now as simple as a conventional TV, thanks to pre-assembled and connected frames. The screen is also equipped with a frame and built-in S-box media player.
The wall-mounted multifunction device has a sophisticated design with an ultra-thin screen only 49 mm thick (ie only 59 mm after installation on the wall). This slim frameless design provides a direct connection to the screen without the need for a separate device for a more elegant setting.
In addition, with 20-bit processing, Black Seal technology and a Micro AI processor, two 146-inch 4K displays can be installed side by side to create a 32: 9 aspect ratio model with the ability to separate them, creating an entire wall with exceptional image quality.
A set of universal displays that adapt to the new era: from charging stations for electric vehicles to hybrid classes
In addition to these models using Micro LED technology, Samsung introduces several screens that meet new needs. They illustrate the ongoing innovations that Samsung is demonstrating to develop new solutions, including contactless communication and improved security features.
The Samsung 2022 range of external displays consists of OHA 55 ”and OHA 75”. Its visibility on the street has been certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL). It also provides a simplified installation due to its subtlety and long-lasting operation thanks to IP65 certification. Made of durable high-performance materials, OHA 55 ”and OHA 75” can work in a wide variety of conditions and situations. This is especially true for charging stations for electric vehicles.
In the field of education, Samsung continues to provide a hybrid learning experience with its innovative products and solutions. The new Flip Pro 2022 (called WMB version 4), available in two large sizes of 75 inches and 85 inches, is an interactive whiteboard designed for both education and business.
