Microsoft Conference, 5 Games We’re Looking For!

Game news Microsoft Conference, 5 Games We’re Looking For!

Xbox and Bethesda have announced that they want to host their Conference of the Year on June 12, 2022. This date is clearly reminiscent of the E3 period, which will take place not this year, but next. But this does not mean that during this period we will have nothing to eat. And who knows, maybe this conference will inspire other studios like Ubisoft, Sony or Electronic Arts to perform in these waters. For now, let’s focus on future Xbox and Bethesda nuggets. Here are 5 games we’re especially looking forward to on June 12, 2022!

Summary

  • Forza
  • Starfield
  • Senua Saga: Hellblade 2
  • red autumn
  • Other projects

The following text is the transcript of the video above

Forza

Let’s start with the heavy artillery: Forza Motorsport 8, which could just be called Forza Motorsport. Indeed, it will be a reboot of the franchise, more organic, more technical, more realistic, but above all, the next generation. When it was announced, with a superb in-engine trailer, the game promised the future of arcade sim for a new generation. Except that since the announcement in the summer of 2020, we have had almost no food. There is a lot of talk about improving the physics, updating the simulation aspect, and improving the online mode, but at the moment we don’t have a release date or actual gameplay. Several photos stolen from the game’s pre-alpha show pit stops that will work on Xbox One. So, Forza Motorsport 8 isn’t all that new, is it? When is the release date and on what platforms? Answering these questions is one of Microsoft’s many challenges at this 2022 conference.

Starfield

Let’s move on to Bethesda, just recruited by Microsoft. Starfield is a new franchise from Bethesda, which is a cosmic role-playing juggernaut. We will be able to explore and discover many things that are still quite mysterious at the moment. Inevitably, with Bethesda, the teaser is being done bit by bit, and the last element to show up is obviously the gameplay that’s due to arrive at that famous conference on June 12th. The game is scheduled for 11/11/22, a key date for Bethesda as 11/11/11 marked the launch of the firm’s most successful Skyrim. To afford this date means to promise the Moon and hope that the new engine, which we were able to evaluate in the teaser of the game, will please us. I must say that Bethesda must atone for its guilt after Fallout 4, which did not please the players at the exit. It still has a Metacritic score of 5.6 out of 10. And the same goes for Fallout 76, which failed to launch. As such, Starfield is the perfect opportunity to prove that Bethesda Studios can still make great games, especially as The Elder Scrolls 6 rolls out.

Senua Saga: Hellblade 2

3rd highly anticipated Xbox game, Senua Saga: Hellblade II. At The Game Awards 2021, we saw gameplay in a carefully crafted script, so it seems logical that we’ll see more details this year, just to warm up the crowd. Hellblade is the adventure of Senua, a young Pict who, in the first episode of the saga, makes an incredible journey into hell to accompany the soul of her lover. An absolutely insane epic that captivated millions of players and motivated the takeover of Ninja Theory by Xbox. Now, working on Unreal Engine 5, the teams promise a real break between the plasticity of the first game and the plasticity of the second one. They also talk about new features we’ll be unlocking over time and a combat rebalance that really needed it.

red autumn

Still in Bethesda red autumn, a game that shone when it was announced in the summer of 2021 and that hasn’t left us with too much information since then. It’s an open-world first-person shooter that can be played solo or in co-op. You can play multiple characters, and each has its own abilities. The main goal of the team is to kill as many vampires as possible. In a few months, we were able to find out the features of each of the 4 characters. We find telekinetics, sapper, sniper and cryptozoologist! In short, the game is developed by Arkane Austin and scheduled for summer 2022. Echoes of playtesting have surfaced in recent weeks, with reviews reporting that this is Borderlands in co-op with loot, bosses, progression and a host of other things. weapons, including apparently a stake thrower. Other information, it will be TPS-FPS, where you can choose between first or third person view and change depending on the situation. So we can’t wait to see more.

Other projects

As you know, Xbox has become a big team in recent years and we would love to hear from you. Everwild, Rare’s poetic game, after Sea of ‚Äč‚ÄčThieves for the studio. We may also mention Perfect darkness, an Xbox The Initiative project co-created with Crystal Dynamics that Square Enix just sold to the Embracer Group. Here it would be about calming the project, which is in the phase of swimming with the public. Then we obviously have Obsidian games, The Outer Worlds 2, even if the first opus was not perfect. Let’s also remember that the studio has a certain universally recognized in boxes, a kind of remade Dark Messiah. It will appeal to those who are older, but for beginners it will be an action-adventure game with regular first-person combat as well as magical combat. We could also mention the Indiana Jones game, which has been official for a long time. There are rumors about a possible Doom 3, which will be a continuation of the excellent Eternal doom. Please note that we have voluntarily excluded the Activision Blizzard roster as the Xbox takeover has yet to be confirmed by the authorities. It remains to be seen if there will be a few words about the brand’s future or hints of an upcoming takeover, because we know Xbox won’t stop there.
