Game news Assassin’s Creed: next opus coming soon?
After announcing new content for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla during the series’ fifteenth anniversary event, Ubisoft took the floor again to set up a new meeting… Finally news from Assassin’s Creed Infinity?
See you in September!
The series’ fifteenth anniversary event is already over… Unfortunately, the latter just lingered on the new content coming to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, or even the appearance of Assassin’s Creed Origins in 60fps on the next gene. Nonetheless, To satisfy all players who were expecting more, Ubisoft took the floor minutes after the end of the Assassin’s Creed event to set up a second meeting.
So Ubisoft is scheduling us to meet next September to find out more about the future of the series, which is a good thing as many projects are already underway: between the free Assassin’s Creed Valhalla content coming out this winter and the standalone Assassin’s Creed Rift rumored to take place in Baghdad, there’s also an Assassin’s Creed VR project and maybe even a new installment, given that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on our beloved machines for over two years now. Of course, that’s not all, let me remind you, a certain Assassin’s Creed Infinity has also been in development for many years.
Any news from Assassin’s Creed Infinity?
It is this famous Assassin’s Creed Infinity game that makes us lose our patience. We would like to know more about this amazing project, which Ubisoft is presenting as a kind of “Metaverse” of Assassin’s Creed, in which different eras and heroes converge. Therefore, we assume that this new meeting, which will take place in September, will allow us to learn more about this experience, unlike any other.
According to the rare information we have about it, Assassin’s Creed Infinity, despite its strong point as a game service, will not be a free-to-play game, but a gigantic project that should include “a lot of narrative elements.”
It will be a very innovative game that has something that players already have in all Assassin’s Creed games. Yves Guillemot, CEO of Ubisoft

About the Summer Game Festival
What is the Summer Game Festival?
There won’t be E3 this year, but we can still look forward to another world-class event: Summer Game Fest, a big show dedicated to video game announcements coming out this or next years. It was in 2020 that journalist and host Geoff Keighley first launched this now unmissable festival. Last year, the show featured amazing footage from Elden Ring; so inevitably the third iteration has high expectations.
When does Summer Game Fest 2022 start?
Summer Game Fest will take place this Thursday, June 9th at 20:00. The show will again be followed by a Day of the Devs session focusing on the independent scene.
How to follow Summer Game Fest 2022?
On JV we will be responding live to announcements from LeStream along with Maxildan and in particular Aymeric Lallée. The show will also be directly visible as a teaser on JV’s homepage. And for those who prefer to read, you will of course find our news throughout the conference. Written CV will also be available
What is the program of Summer Game Fest 2022?
Among the games not to be missed is in particular the successor to Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol, which shows us its first gameplay images. For its part, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 presents us with its first level. Also on the program: Gotham Knights, Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course, Aarin Flynn’s (formerly Bioware) studio’s first game Nightingale, the JRPG One Piece Odyssey, the free-to-play Warframe or even Planet of Lana. Geoff Keighley further announced: “We have some announcements for new games for this show and hopefully some surprises if all goes well. But it’s definitely a show that mostly focuses on predictable things..”
